U.S. Recognizes StarCraft Player as an Athlete
Alan Yu published a wonderful article yesterday on the topic of a South Korean StarCraft player who was granted a 5-year P-1A visa. This article is important for many reasons: (1) gaming is being recognized as a sport; (2) foreign nationals have the opportunity to visit the United States to compete in gaming conventions and tournaments under the appropriate visa; and (3) people are getting innovative in applying for different visa categories.
At Casseus Law, we work every day to assist our clients in applying for the visa that best fits their needs and the needs of their family. Because the immigration laws are always changing, it is important to work with attorney’s who are constantly staying aware of the newest changes and innovations in immigration law. Attorney Rachel Casseus and her team like to think out of the box. They are motivated by not only brainstorming novel approaches to assisting their clients, but they are also willing to go the extra mile to help foreign nationals put forth the strongest visa and green card applications possible.
